Induction Cooktop – GHSP

Assisted GHSP’s advanced technology team in the development of the next generation induction cooktop. The system combines multi-pan cook-anywhere functionality with an integrated display across the entire cooking surface for an immersive user experience. Our assistance unlocked new approaches to induction technologies while also increasing GHSP’s in-house capabilities.

Smart-container

Designed a smart-lid for a container that combined a discrete LED display, liquid level sensing, wireless charging through NFC, haptic feedback, and temperature sensing. Our support included the gathering of consumer and product requirements, creation of the product specifications, design and testing of the PCBAs, and strategic sourcing support. The design required a lot of disparate functions and hardware to be packaged in an incredibly small space. Our designers were able to leverage our tools to work seamlessly with our clients to create 3D models of our multi-board miniaturized solution.

Functional Tester

Created a bed-of-nails test bed for a new PCBA for high volume manufacturing. This bed-of-nails was used for a high-energy advanced home appliance controller. Our team was able to work with their PCB designers, mechanical engineers, test programmers, and manufacturing support to create an integrated test solution.

Light Reactor

A new design concept was needed for a client, but their budget for proving the application was small. So we got creative and built our own tools and test fixtures to deliver a low overhead proof-of-concept design for their advanced design team. This light reactor used several interchangeable light sources, multiple light power meters, interchangeable lenses, and automated data collection to streamline the vetting process.
